Dunia Sweater is an all-over colourwork sweater worked seamlessly top down in DK weight, so it knits up relatively quickly. The set-in sleeve gives you a clean shoulder line even with the generous positive ease, and you can try the sweater on as you go and adjust the length to suit you.

It’s worked in one main colour and multiple contrast colours. Some of them are quite neutral, some are bold and unexpected. Together they create a sweater that feels alive and a little unpredictable. You could knit it in just two colours for a more minimal look, but where’s the fun in that.

The floats are short, so the knitting is relaxed and intuitive. There are portions that ask for your focus and portions where you can just settle in and enjoy the rhythm. It’s a great balance making it a satisfying knit from start to finish.

This pattern uses very little yarn and is quick to knit. The patterns are easy because the distance they cover is very short and only 2 colors are used at a time, also making it perfect for using leftover yarn.

The scarf is worked from the top down, from the centre outward. It is knit in garter stitch, which means you knit every stitch on both the right side and the wrong side. In other words: super easy! Increases are worked at the beginning and end of every row, and on each side of the centre stitch on right-side rows. The stripe pattern uses 1 ridge (= 2 rows) per colour, but you can adjust this however you like, with wider or narrower stripes. The scarf also works well in a single colour.

The scarf can be made as large or as small as you like, and it’s perfect as a leftover-yarn project.
